Jungle Book Interview Evaluation
What was the task you were assigned?
To create a mock Jungle Book interview with the marketing manager and producer.
What programme did you use to complete your task?
We used adobe premiere pro.
What tools/effect did you use from your programme to create your task?
We used ultra key to allow us to use a background with our green screen. We also used the trim feature, horizontal and vertical flip.
What were the biggest obstacles to completing your task?
One of the biggest obstacles was the lighting on the green screen. We found it difficult to eliminate all shadows in the background.
Did you complete the task on time? If not, why not?
We did complete the task on time.
How do you think this task will help with your Jungle Book revision?
It will allow me to see how the Jungle Book 2016 was made and how the final result was achieved.
What do you think you could have improved in terms of content and presentation?
I believe we could have made the lighting significantly better so that the background looked better and was not covered in light.
What was your initial feedback? What did others say about your production?
Our initial feedback was that we looked too small on the screen. To correct this I enlarged ourselves so we looked larger and more clear to see.
Identify what went well and with hindsight what would you do differently?
I believe that our questions were good and will be very helpful for revision. I also thought that the editing was good when we were cutting to and from the interviewer, the producer and the marketing managers. Next time I would spend more time configuring lighting.
